Matchmaking in Fortnite is based on a combination of several factors, including skill level, platform, and sometimes even input type (keyboard/mouse vs. controller). Epic Games uses a system called Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM) to pair you with players of similar skill level to make the games more balanced and fun.

It鈥檚 mostly about matching players with similar skill levels. They don鈥檛 want you getting stomped by someone just because they have the fastest thumbs.

From my experience, matchmaking in Fortnite seems to prioritize skill. I started winning more consistently as I improved, and my opponents got tougher. It keeps the game challenging and rewarding!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
