Misdirection doesn't work on spells that don't have targets or spells with multiple targets. It’s all about those single-target spells. So, you can’t Misdirect a board wipe, since they don’t target. Keep it in mind to avoid any 'gotcha' moments during play.

In MTG, Misdirection is a spell that changes the target of a spell with a single target. You cast Misdirection by discarding a blue card in addition to paying its mana cost, then choose a new target for the spell being redirected. It's a neat trick for turning your opponent's spells against them or protecting your key cards from being targeted!

Tbh, Misdirection is kinda overrated. Sure, changing a spell's target can save you in niche situations, but most times, you're better off with cards that counter rather than redirect. Just my hot take!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
