Multiplayer in Total War: Three Kingdoms allows you to play both the campaign and battles with friends. In campaign mode, two players can co-op, taking turns managing their factions and fighting battles. For battles, you can either cooperate with or battle against other players in custom setups.

I鈥檝e played countless hours with my friend! One of you hosts the campaign, and you can strategize together or go head-to-head in battles. Makes for some epic and hilarious moments!

Pretty straightforward: you can either play the campaign with a buddy or engage in epic battles against each other. It's awesome!
