Basically, it compiles the defensive abilities of all the players on a team to get an average defensive performance, weighting key defensive stats more heavily.

NBA 2K determines team overall defensive ratings based on the individual defensive ratings of each player on the team. It looks at stats like blocks, steals, and defensive rebounds!

From what I've seen, it considers players' defensive attributes and their performance metrics like steals and blocks per game. If your team has lots of great defenders, expect a high defensive rating!

It's just an aggregate of individual player defensive stats. Nothing too complicated.

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
