How does Poison work in Pokemon TCG?
Poison in Pokemon TCG basically means your Pokemon takes extra damage in between turns. Simple as that. No fancy tricks, just extra hurt for them and (hopefully) an easy win for you.

I've been playing Pokemon TCG for years, and let me tell you, using poison can really turn the tide of a battle. That one extra damage counter at the end of each turn can add up fast, especially in tight matches. Totally underrated strategy.
In the Pokemon TCG, when a Pokemon is poisoned, you put a poison counter on it. At the end of the owner's turn, that Pokemon takes one damage counter because of the poison. It's a slick way to slowly chip away at your opponent's Pokemon, especially if you can't knock them out with a direct attack right away. Remember, only the passage of turns will cause the damage from poison, so it's a strategy game!
