Parents need to redeem the gift card and manage the wallet, but it's pretty straightforward. Trust me, my kid's always bugging me for V-Bucks this way!

Just redeem the PSN gift card on the kid's account, and the funds will be added to their wallet. Parents can control the spending limits through the Family Management settings.

When you add a PSN gift card to a kid's account, it goes into their wallet, but kids' accounts have spending limits set by the parent or guardian. So, any purchase they want to make will need to be within those limits, or you can adjust the settings if needed.

It's easier to just use the gift card on your own account and gift them what they want.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
