You can change your PSN name by going to your PSN profile on your PS4, PS5, or through a web browser. Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID. Note: The first change is free; after that, it costs money!
Just stick with your original name. Changing it might break your old games.
I changed mine last month. Super easy and took like 5 minutes. Just remember, only the first one is free!
