Simply put, you lose 1.5 tiers from where you ended last season. If you were Platinum, say hello to Silver.

So, the way rank reset works in Apex Legends is pretty straightforward. At the start of a new ranked season, your rank will drop a bit, but not all the way back to zero. Usually, you'll drop 1.5 tiers from your ending rank in the previous season. For example, if you ended the season as Gold II, you'll start the next season around Silver IV. It's their way of giving you a bit of a challenge without making you start from scratch!

I've been grinding ranked in Apex since season 5, and every new season feels like a mini reset. You drop 1.5 tiers, but it's actually a fun way to re-prove yourself. Plus, it stops higher ranks from getting too crowded. Keeps the game fresh, IMO.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
