Reactivity in metals increases as you move down a group on the periodic table because the outer electrons are further from the nucleus, making them easier to lose. In general, alkali metals at the left side of the table are super reactive compared to those on the right!

Most metals increase in reactivity as you go down the group because atoms are larger and outer electrons are more easily removed.

Metals get more reactive as you go down a column, just like kids get more chaotic with each candy they eat.

The elements get moodier (reactive) as they get heavier down the table!

Reactivity of metals down a group is like a roller coaster – it really takes off with alkali metals!
