Short version: Reprieve = No die + Free card. Use it to save your precious creatures and laugh in the face of danger.

Reprieve in Magic The Gathering is a neat trick! Think of it as your get-out-of-jail card. When a creature's about to bite the dust in combat, you play Reprieve. This spell undoes all the damage that was dealt to that creature this turn, saving it from certain doom. Plus, you get a pat on the back in the form of drawing a card. It's like the creature says, 'Thanks for saving me,' and you get a little bonus for your heroics.

Honestly, Reprieve might seem cool, but it's kind of a situational card. Great for saving your key creatures, but if you're not in a pinch, that card slot could be something with a bit more punch.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
