Rotation in Pokemon TCG basically means out with the old, in with the new! Every year, the game phases out some older sets to keep the competitive scene fresh. This usually happens around September. When a set rotates out, it's no longer playable in the Standard format, but you can still use those cards in Expanded format. Keeps things spicy and balances the game!

Short answer: Rotation cuts older card sets from Standard play to keep matches interesting and balanced. Think of it as spring cleaning for the game!

Rotation? More like 'Time to break the piggy bank again'. But, yeah, it keeps the game fresh.

Honestly, rotation's just the game's way of forcing you to buy new cards. But it does make things fairer for everyone and keeps the meta from getting stale. Been playing for years and it's always a mix of excitement and a tad bit of pain to see some faves go.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
