In Tetris, you score points by clearing lines. The more lines you clear at once, the higher your score. A single line clear (single) gets you fewer points than a double or triple, and a Tetris (clearing four lines at once) scores the most. The faster the pieces fall, the more points you get too!

Basically, just clear those lines as fast as you can! The more lines you clear in one go, the higher your score. And don't forget to aim for those Tetrises!

Real talk: clearing four lines at once (aka a Tetris) is the key to racking up high scores. Everything else is just practice.

I usually go for combos鈥攃learing multiple lines in quick succession can boost your score significantly. Also, keep in mind that levels increase speed, and quicker drops mean more points. Happy Tetris-ing!

If you're a Tetris player looking for extra power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Tetris essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
