Shimmer's for the endgame players. It's not that useful unless you've got items to spare and want to experiment. It's more of a fun gimmick than a game-changer.

Shimmer in Terraria is super cool! It basically transforms items into other things which can be really fun or helpful. You get Shimmer by defeating the new mini-boss, the Shimmer Slime, which spawns in the Underground Hallow biome. Once you've got some, use it at the Shimmer Transmutator (you gotta craft this thing first) and start turning your common items into something way more awesome!

Love Shimmer! Turned some of my boring gear into rare items. Make sure you've got plenty to experiment with; it's a bit of a lottery but totally worth it.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
