It's just your game, running on your beefy PC, but you can play it on your old laptop that couldn't normally handle it. Magic? Nah, just Steam Streaming.

Tried it. Laggy and depends too much on your network. Not a fan.

Steam Streaming, officially known as Steam Remote Play, lets you play games on one computer when the game is running on another. Essentially, it streams the game from your powerful gaming PC to another device, be it another less powerful PC, a laptop, or even a mobile phone. You start the game on your main PC, and it sends a live video feed to your other device, while your inputs on that device are sent back to the main PC. It's like Netflix, but for your own Steam games, letting you play anywhere in your home.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
