Storm Surge in Fortnite activates when there are too many players left alive in a match! It deals damage to the players with the lowest damage dealt, so keep fighting and stay aggressive!

Basically, if there's too many people alive, Storm Surge comes to thin the herd. It hits the players with the least damage done, so make sure you're not just hiding!

If you鈥檙e wondering why you鈥檙e suddenly taking damage, it's probably Storm Surge. Do more damage, stay safe!

First-hand experience here: I ignored it once and got out pretty quick. Lesson learned: keep that damage up!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
