How does strength work with power armor in Fallout 76?
AlightingTang路7 months agoIn Fallout 76, when you jump into power armor, it sets your Strength to a minimum of 11 if it's not already higher. This means if your Strength is at 10, getting into power armor will boost it to 11. However, if your Strength is already over 11, you won't see any increase from the power armor itself. Plus, power armor lets you carry more weight and increases your damage resistance. But remember, any Strength bonuses you get from your regular armor are lost when you enter power armor, so plan accordingly!

Just a quick note - power armor doesn't stack with your existing Strength if it's over 11. It's more like a set minimum, not a boost. So, if you're walking around flexing with Strength 12, power armor won't pump those numbers up.
Actually, I found power armor most useful for the carry weight bonus and not really for the Strength. I mean, sure, it sets your Strength to 11, which can be super helpful early in the game or if you're not focusing on a Strength build. But the real MVP feature is feeling like a walking tank and being able to haul more junk back to my camp!
