Just to set the record straight, Tears of the Kingdom isn't officially on Steam Deck, you're essentially running it through emulation or compatibility layers. So, while it 'works,' don't expect a perfect experience. It's a workaround, not a solution.

Tears of the Kingdom runs surprisingly well on Steam Deck, considering it's not natively supported. You gotta run it through a compatibility layer like Proton, but once you do, it's smooth sailing - solid frame rates and decent graphics, given the hardware. Make sure your Steam Deck is up to date and you tweak settings for optimal performance. It's kinda like magic, seeing Hyrule come to life on a handheld that's not a Switch!

Honestly, it's amazing on Steam Deck! Been playing non-stop and it feels like the game was made for it. Sure, you need to jump through a couple hoops to get it running, but once it's up, it's pure Zelda bliss. The controls feel natural, and the game looks gorgeous on that screen.

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
