Attack on Titan's gear, also known as the ODM (Omni-Directional Mobility) gear, lets the characters zip around like Spider-Man! It uses gas-powered grappling hooks that shoot from the waist, allowing wearers to maneuver through the air and around Titans for better combat positioning.

It's basically fancy, anime jetpacks with grappling hooks. Simple as that.

The gas-powered canisters in the ODM gear propel the users while the grappling hooks provide the anchor points. They require a lot of skill and practice to use effectively, so don't try this at home!

I tried replicating ODM gear once for a cosplay. Let鈥檚 just say it didn鈥檛 end well. The gear in the show is pretty much magic!

In real-life terms, think of ODM gear as a combination of steampunk aesthetics and extreme parkour tech. The characters use it to navigate and fight in 3D space, making for some seriously epic action scenes.
