In Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Edward sacrifices his alchemy to bring back Alphonse. They both go their separate ways to study and better the world. It's a bittersweet but satisfying conclusion!

In the original 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist series, Edward ends up in our world while Alphonse gets his body back. It's a pretty wild twist compared to Brotherhood!

Brotherhood's ending is the true ending, sticking to the manga's storyline. Edward sacrifices his alchemy, Alphonse returns to normal, and they both continue their journeys.

Edward gives up his ability to use alchemy to get Alphonse back. Simple and sweet ending.
