The Mystery Box in Pokémon GO lets you encounter the mythical Pokémon Meltan! You need to transfer a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to either Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee or Pokémon HOME to get the box. Once opened, you'll have 60 minutes with increased spawns of Meltan. Happy hunting!
It's not that mysterious. Transfer a Pokémon to Pokémon HOME, use the box, and catch Meltan for an hour.
From my experience, sending a Pokémon to Pokémon HOME will get you a Mystery Box. Open it to see Meltan pop up for a whole hour. So worth it!
