Basically, you start in Open League, and as you earn more Hype points, you advance through divisions and leagues (Contender, Champion, etc.). The higher the league, the tougher the competition!
Fortnite's ranked system is based on Arena mode, where you earn points called Hype by getting eliminations and placing high in matches. The more Hype you earn, the higher your division, ranging from Open League to Champion League. So, you wanna rank up? Get those Victory Royales and eliminations!
