Thumper = monster magnet. Drop it, it goes boom boom, monsters go huh?, you go bye-bye in the other direction. EZ.
Honestly, the Thumper's not all it's cracked up to be. Yeah, it distracts the monsters, but if you're not careful with where you place it, you'll just end up drawing all of them right to you. Had a game where a teammate kept using it wrong, and we barely escaped. Use it smart, or don't use it at all.
