Time traveling in Animal Crossing is when players change the system's clock to manipulate the in-game time. This lets you experience events sooner or later than they would naturally occur. By going into your device's system settings and adjusting the date and time, you can skip ahead to harvest fruit, catch specific bugs or fish that appear during certain times or seasons, or participate in various events. Just be careful, as it can mess with some in-game events and the natural flow of your island living!

It's simple. You just tweak your Switch's system time settings. Want to experience Christmas in July? Go for it. Just jump into the system settings, change the date, and voila, your game reflects that date and time. But a word of caution, your villagers might not appreciate you disappearing for what feels like months at a time.

Time traveling is a godsend for impatient players. Missed an event? No worries, just go back. Need that shop upgrade ASAP? Skip ahead. Just keep in mind that it's not how the game was designed to be played, so you might miss out on the real-time experience.

Honestly, it's kinda like cheating, but without breaking any rules. Sure, you can skip ahead to get that building faster or find the seasonal fish, but part of the charm is the wait, right?

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
