Oh, Triskaidekaphobia? It basically wins you the game if someone hits 13 life. Just sit back, adjust those life totals with its ability, and watch for the moment to say 'Gotcha!'

Triskaidekaphobia is a unique card in MTG that plays on the fear of the number 13. It's an enchantment card which means it stays on the battlefield once you cast it. The fun begins during your upkeep (the start of your turn); if anyone's life total is exactly 13, they lose the game! But that's not all, it also gives you the option to either have each player lose 1 life or each player gain 1 life during your upkeep, strategically nudging life totals closer to the unlucky 13.

Honestly, Triskaidekaphobia seems like more trouble than it's worth. I mean, hitting exactly 13 life? That's a lot of setup for a condition that's pretty easy to dodge with a well-timed life gain or loss.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
