Valorant takes the AFK issue seriously! If you go AFK (away from keyboard) during a match, you'll first receive a warning. Keep it up, and you're looking at penalties like being barred from queuing for matches for a certain period, which increases with repeated offenses. It's all about keeping the game fair and fun for everyone, so stay in the game, or feel the sting of the punishment stick!

If you're thinking of stepping away for a 'quick snack' mid-game, think again. Valorant will slap you with penalties faster than you can say 'but I was hungry!' First a warning, then short matchmaking bans that get longer with each offense. Stick around, play the game, or face the wrath of the AFK penalties.

Just don't go AFK, and you won't have to worry about it. But seriously, if you do, you start with warnings and then get hit with time penalties for matchmaking. They get longer the more you do it. Play nice, or take a time-out.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
