How does Valorant calculate RR?

Valorant calculates RR (Ranked Rating) based on a few key factors: your match performance, whether you win or lose, and the skill discrepancy between teams. If you're outperforming others at your rank, you'll gain more RR, especially if you win against a team that's considered to be better than yours. Lose, especially to a team the game thinks you should have beaten, and you'll drop RR quicker.

Short answer: Win more, especially against tough teams, and play well. Your RR loves that.

RR calculation feels random. Sometimes you play like a pro and barely move up. Other times, it's the opposite.

Honestly, it feels like Valorant's RR system is a bit of a mystery sometimes, but winning and playing well are your best bets. I've seen bigger jumps in RR when I top the leaderboard and my team wins against higher-ranked opponents.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
