It's all about word length and bonus words. Simple as that!
Wordscapes calculates your score based on the number of words you find and the length of each word. Longer words and filling the bonus words get you more points!
From personal experience, the more words you find, especially longer ones, the higher your score. Bonus words also give extra points!
