How durable is the Steam Deck?
Dropped mine once from a coffee table, almost had a heart attack, but it was fine! Not even a scratch. So yeah, it's pretty durable, but I wouldn't make a habit out of dropping it.

Honestly, it's a bit overhyped. It's durable, sure, but I've seen a few reports of screen issues after drops. Like any tech, it has its limits.
The Steam Deck is surprisingly sturdy! Valve really did their homework in making a device that can handle the daily grind. I've been hauling mine around in my backpack, and it's stood up to the test quite well. The build quality feels solid, and it doesn't creak or feel flimsy when I'm using it. Just don't go treating it like a Nokia 3310 - it's tough, but not indestructible.
It's durable, but get a case. Trust me.
