Honestly, it depends on what you're powering. If you're running a lot of high-draw items, the fusion generator is a must-have. But for smaller setups, you could get by with lesser generators. I'm all about efficiency and not overdoing it, but when I finally set up my mega camp, that fusion generator was worth every bit of effort to find the plans.
