If you're just looking to play the game, you can start with a pre-constructed deck or booster packs without spending a fortune. But if you're aiming to collect, especially the rare cards, be prepared to invest some serious cash.

As a longtime collector, I've seen prices go from a couple of bucks to a small fortune. It's all about what you're looking for. Some of the rarest cards, especially those in mint condition or with misprints, can cost as much as a new car!

Oh, the prices of Pokemon cards can range from just a few cents for common cards to thousands of dollars for the ultra-rare ones! It really boils down to rarity, condition, and demand. For example, a common card you can easily find might not be worth much, while a first edition, holographic Charizard can fetch a pretty penny, sometimes even breaking into the 5 or 6 figure range if it's in mint condition.

Honestly, they're not that expensive unless you're chasing the rare stuff. Most cards are super affordable.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
