Depends on how deep your pockets are and how serious you are about collecting. Some of the top cards might as well require you to sell a kidney. Just kidding (or am I?). But for real, we're talking big bucks, easily going into the hundreds of thousands for the crème de la crème.

Oh boy, you're looking into a world of high finance and intense collector passion! The top 10 most expensive Pokémon cards are like the crown jewels of the TCG kingdom. They can range wildly, from tens of thousands to over a million dollars based on condition, rarity, and historical significance. For example, a 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard can soar past $300,000. Then there's the Pikachu Illustrator card, a holy grail for collectors, which has hit over $5 million at auction. It's a wild, wild world with these prices often changing due to the market's demand.

Too much. You're probably better off investing in stocks, unless you've got a magic wallet.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
