How to Delete a Facebook Account?
I did this last month! Go to settings > Your Facebook Info > Deactivation and Deletion. Follow the steps to delete your account permanently. Took me like 5 minutes.

Log into your Facebook account, go to Settings, then click on 'Your Facebook Information'. Select 'Deactivate and Deletion', then choose 'Delete Account'. Simple as that!
Honestly, deleting your account is overkill. Just change your settings to limit who can see your info.
Just hit settings, then 'Your Facebook Information', and pick 'Delete Account'. Done and done.
Why delete? Just deactivate for a break. Same steps though: Settings > Your Facebook Info > Deactivation and Deletion.
