Honestly, it's not that much of a gap. The anime does a pretty good job keeping up with the manga, but yeah, the manga is still ahead. This keeps things exciting for manga readers who get to see what's coming up first.

The 'One Piece' manga is typically ahead of the anime by about 30-40 chapters. Since the manga is the original content, the anime takes time to adapt and animate the storylines. This difference usually translates to several months' worth of content, depending on the pacing of both the manga chapters and the anime episodes.

The gap isn't huge but remember the anime adds filler arcs that are not in the manga. So strictly speaking, the manga's story is further along.

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
