Honestly, Modern's pace really depends on the decks at the table. Aggro decks try to sprint to the finish, while control wants to turn it into a marathon. Either way, buckle up; it's a wild ride!

Modern MTG can be lightning quick! Some decks manage to win as early as turn 3 or 4, especially those focused on a combo or aggressive strategy. But not all matches end that fast; control and midrange matches can stretch to turn 10 or beyond, depending on how the game unfolds.

Too fast, if you ask me. Some decks just blast off and you're sitting there, game over, wondering what just happened. Makes you miss the days when games lasted longer than your cup of coffee.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
