Sorcery speed in MTG is like the turtle in the race; slow but strategic. It means you can only play sorceries on your turn during the main phases (before and after combat) and not in response to other spells. It's all about planning ahead and timing!

Sorcery speed is the elevator music of MTG speeds. Only on your turn, and only when nothing else is happening. Patience is key.

Sorcery speed? That's the speed of bureaucracy - only works on your own time and under specific conditions. Only during your turn and only during one of your main phases. No quick responses or flashy moves at this speed!

Quick answer: Sorcery speed = your turn, main phases only. Can't interact during the opponent's turn, making it the chess' 'thinking step' of MTG.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
