How good is Hymn to Tourach in Legacy MTG?

Honestly, Hymn to Tourach is overrated. Sure, making someone discard two cards at random can feel powerful, but Legacy is a format where a lot of decks actually benefit from having stuff in their graveyard. Plus, with all the fast-paced decks out there, sometimes it just feels too slow.

Hymn to Tourach is a beast in Legacy! It's like taking a wrecking ball to your opponent's hand. Imagine playing it and watching two random cards get ripped out of their grip – it could be anything from their land to their game-winning combo piece. And because it's just two black mana, it's super easy to cast early in the game. It's especially nasty in decks built to mess with the opponent's resources. But remember, it's all about the strategy. Drop it at the right time and you can totally derail your opponent's plans.

I've been playing a mono-black deck in Legacy that uses Hymn to Tourach, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. The number of times I've turned the tide of a match because I hit their key pieces is too high to count. It's not just about the discard; it's about the psychological impact. Nothing quite like seeing the despair in your opponent's eyes when they lose their best cards.
