Obsessive Search is pretty niche, but in a deck with Baral, Chief of Compliance, it shines brighter than a foil mythic rare. Since Baral makes your instants and sorceries cheaper, Obsessive Search virtually becomes free with its Madness cost. So, if you're tossing cards left and right, you're not just ditching them; you're potentially drawing for free. In the right deck, it's like finding a treasure in your grandma's attic.

Honestly, I think Obsessive Search is just okay for Baral. Sure, it's a cheap draw, but there are better options out there that could synergize more effectively with Baral's cost-reduction ability. Don't get me wrong, it can work, but it's not the first card I'd slot into a Baral deck.

Absolutely clutch! Played a game where Obsessive Search pulled its weight in gold. With Baral on the field, it felt like I was drawing cards for fun. Totally recommend for any Baral-focused deck.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
