Overrated IMO. Yeah, Sunforger can do cool stuff, but it's too slow for Commander. You're spending mana to equip and then more mana to actually use its ability. In a format as fast-paced as Commander, there's just better stuff you could be doing with your mana.
As someone who has been crushed by a well-timed Sunforger activation more times than I care to admit, it's definitely powerful in the right hands. The ability to fetch the perfect spell in response to whatever your opponents are doing can't be understated. Plus, it's just fun to pull out a surprise answer and see your opponent's reaction.
