How good is the Battalion mechanic in MTG?

Battalion is situational. It shines in formats where you can reliably amass a small army without getting wiped out by a board clear. In slower, more control-oriented metas, it might not perform as well since it's harder to keep three creatures on the board. So, good? Yes, in the right deck.

Battalion is pretty awesome if you're all about attacking with a bunch of creatures. The mechanic requires you to attack with at least three creatures to trigger all sorts of beneficial effects. So, if you're into aggressive strategies and enjoy seeing your opponents squirm as you unleash a flurry of attacks, Battalion is right up your alley. Just make sure to build your deck with plenty of creatures to keep the Battalion party going!

Eh, Battalion's okay. Just feels like it forces you to overcommit to the board, making you vulnerable to sweepers. Not my cup of tea.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
