They're not that heavy, really. If you can heft a decent-sized textbook, you can handle a booster box of Magic cards no problem. Think less 'lifting weights at the gym' and more 'picking up a large pizza.'

A typical MTG booster box weighs around 2 to 2.5 pounds (roughly 900 to 1130 grams). This can vary slightly based on the set and packaging material, but it's a good ballpark figure if you're looking to estimate shipping costs or just curious about the heft.

Just weighed my latest Commander Legends booster box, and it hit right around 2.3 pounds on the kitchen scale. So, yeah, they vary, but not by much.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
