I've run my PS4 for over 24 hours straight with no problems. Just make sure it's well-ventilated and not covered in dust.

Real talk: leaving any console on for too long isn't great. Give it a rest every few hours to stay safe.

The PlayStation 4 can stay on indefinitely, but it's best to give it a break every now and then to avoid overheating and wear. I've left mine on for days with no issues!

I've had mine on non-stop for a week during a marathon gaming session. No issues, but I made sure to keep the vents clean and the room cool.

As long as it doesn't overheat, you can technically leave it on as long as you need. Just keep an eye on it.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
