MTG games can range significantly in length depending on the game format and the decks being used. A quick, aggressive match might be over in as few as 5-10 minutes, especially in formats like Standard or Modern where efficient, fast-paced decks are common. On the other hand, longer, more strategic games, particularly in formats like Commander, can last over an hour. Really, it's all about how the decks match up and the play styles of the gamers.

Forever if you're playing with my friend Dave. Dude takes AGES to make a move. But realistically, 15-60 minutes is a good average.

Honestly, it really depends. You could be looking at anywhere from a super speedy 5 minutes if one player gets a dream hand and steamrolls, or you could be settling in for the long haul in a Commander game that drags on for hours. Pack snacks.

MTG games are way too long. Who has hours to spend on one game anyway?

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
