GTA 5 was a massive project for Rockstar Games. It took them around 5 years to develop from initial concept to the full release in September 2013. The level of detail in the game, from its vast open world to character development, meant a ton of work was involved. So yeah, 5 whole years to bring Los Santos to our screens!

5 years? Honestly, it was worth every second. The world, the details, the story... chef's kiss!

Took them 5 years. Seems a lot, but for a game that still feels fresh and is played by millions, I'd say time well spent.

Only 5 years to create the masterpiece that is GTA 5. To think they built that entire massive world in the same time it takes to get a college degree is just mind-blowing.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
