Golden tools in Animal Crossing have way more durability than their regular counterparts, but they're not immortal. They DO eventually break after a lot of use. For example, the golden shovel can withstand around 200 uses before it gives up the ghost. So, treat them like precious treasures, but don't be shocked when they need replacing.

Golden tools break?! Yeah, they do. After about 200 swings, digs, or catches. But hey, that鈥檚 a lot of swings, digs, and catches in island life.

While golden tools in Animal Crossing are the top tier tools because of their increased durability, they aren't unbreakable. Expect your golden tools to last significantly longer than standard tools, but you'll be saying goodbye after around 200 uses. It's bittersweet, really.

They last forever if you never use them ;) But seriously, around 200 uses give or take.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
