How long should I send my dwellers out in Fallout Shelter?
DealingDada·8 months agoIn Fallout Shelter, sending dwellers out to the wasteland is a great way to gather resources, but there's a bit of strategy to it. Generally, the longer you can keep them out there, the better the loot they'll bring back. However, make sure they are well-equipped with weapons, outfits, and enough Stimpaks and RadAway to survive. A solid rule is to start with short trips (around 1-2 hours) for new dwellers or those with low stats. As they level up and you equip them better, try extending their trips up to 12 hours or even a full day! Just keep an eye on their health in the wasteland explorer log, and recall them if things look dicey.

Honestly, it's all about your gear. Good gear? Leave 'em out for days. Bad gear? Maybe a few hours. Keep it balanced, and you'll rake in those caps and lunchboxes no problem.
