Nuke zones in Fallout 76 are temporary but super interesting areas to explore. After a nuke lands, the affected area becomes highly radioactive and filled with high-level enemies and rare loot. This chaos lasts for about 3 hours in real-time before the zone clears up and goes back to normal. So, strap on your Power Armor and make the most of it!

Honestly, the whole 3-hour nuke duration is perfect for looting and grinding. One time, I suited up in my best Power Armor, headed into a nuke zone right after the boom, and came out loaded with rare materials and gear. Best Fallout 76 experience ever!
