Honestly, it took me like 3 hours to download Animal Crossing on my Switch. My internet isn't the best, so grab some snacks, watch a movie, and before you know it, you'll be collecting bugs and fish with the best of them!

The time it takes to download Animal Crossing really depends on your internet speed. If you've got a fast connection, you could be frolicking with your new animal pals in as little as an hour and a half. But, if your internet's more on the tortoise side of things, it might take up to 3 hours or more. Just enough time to plan out your island getaway!

45 minutes, tops. You need better internet if it's taking longer.

Quick download? More like a slow boat to your new island life. Depends on your net speed, but patience is key!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
