Honestly, Gintama starts getting really good around episode 25. The first few episodes are mostly setup and character introductions, but hang in there for the real fun!

IMHO, Gintama is good from episode 1. The humor and characters grabbed me right away, but I guess I'm just a sucker for silly samurai antics!

Gintama picks up some serious steam around episode 50. That's when the action and story arcs really start hitting their stride. Trust me, it's worth the wait!

Skip the first 2-3 episodes if you're impatient. It gets awesome once everyone's settled in and the real plotlines unfold.

If you're a Gintama fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
