I find it takes around 2.5 hours sometimes, especially if I'm using a third-party charger.

It usually takes about 2 hours to fully charge a PS4 controller from empty. Happy gaming!

Honestly, it's closer to 3 hours for me. Maybe my controller is weird or my USB cable is slow!

Mine charges in around 2 hours, give or take. I use the official charging dock from Sony.

2 hours, no more, no less. Anything longer, and you're probably dealing with a bad cable or port.
