Honestly, expecting more than 4 hours on any high-end game is wishful thinking. The Steam Deck is powerful, but that power comes at the cost of battery life. Think of it as a trade-off for being able to play your fave PC games on the go.
My Steam Deck lasts around 5 hours when I play indie titles or older games, but for the latest AAA games, I'm lucky if I get 3 hours. Just keep a charger handy or consider a power bank for longer sessions.
